As the coronavirus pandemic spreads, so does its impact. It pushed economies into a lockdown, which somehow helped contain the virus and save lives, but also triggered the worst recession.
The fashion industry has taken a hard hit due to the crisis, particularly for individual labels and entrepreneurs it’s an adverse situation unless they cope up with the new normal by marketing through digital mediums.
The epidemic has totally changed the buying experience of patrons who turned to choose online shopping rather than going stores.
“Virtual will be the new normal from now on, and the brands/labels are going to up their game in the digital space,” says Susmitha Anala, a noted fashion enthusiast, designer and a stylist in the Telugu film Industry.
In her opinion, Tollywood is going places and fashion in the industry is on par with the Bollywood.
“With fresh talents exploring the space it would bloom more in the coming days, let’s all hope to get back to normalcy again until then Virtual is the new real!” she adds.
