The author of the popular Beach House series will soon hold a meet-and-greet for her latest book, “The Summer of Lost and Found,” at FoxTale Book Shoppe in Woodstock.
Mary Alice Monroe, a New York Times bestselling author, will meet fans at the bookstore 2 p.m. May 15.
“The Summer of Lost and Found” is the seventh in Monroe’s Beach House series. The book is set against the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic. The story explores the faith, strength and hope in the Rutledge family and beyond as they adjust to the vast changes in their lives brought on by the pandemic.
Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP through Eventbrite to receive updates about the event. The event is currently planned to be in-person, though that could change.
FoxTale will offer signed copies of “The Summer of Lost and Found,” “Reunion Beach,” and any of Monroe’s other titles. Signed bookplate copies of her new middle grade novel, “The Islanders” will also be available to order a month after “The Summer of Lost and Found,” and will be published in June.
“The Summer of Lost and Found” will be published by Gallery Books on May 11.
