A farm shop, famed for it shop, café and restaurant is launching yoga and wellness activities for their local community.

The Reynolds family took on Bodnant Welsh Food in 2019 and have now partnered with Kate Hamilton-Kapur of OM YOGA North Wales to create a programme of weekly classes and monthly workshops.

The family aim to serve their community and visitors to the area. The family currently offer a cookery school and creative workshop programme and feel expanding to offer yoga and wellness classes, compliments the programmes they already run.

Kate, who will be running the yoga and wellness sessions said: “I am absolutely delighted to bringing this offering to Bodnant Welsh Food. The Pochin room really is a dream setting that instils a sense of calm as soon as you walk in! The round windows lead to gorgeous views out over the River Conwy.

“In some ways it felt counterintuitive to be starting a new venture in the midst of a pandemic, and there have been many challenges, but I truly believe that we need to take care of ourselves and each other more than ever right now.”

Kate has joined with eight other wellness teachers who will be running the programmes.

Measures have been put in place to keep the public safe and allow them to enjoy the classes and event.

Bodnant Welsh Food is based in Tal y Cafn, Conwy.
