Khloe Kardashian has sparked speculation she is set to become Mrs. Tristan Thompson after flashing what appeared to be a giant diamond engagement ring on her left hand.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was photographed enjoying a winter stroll with their two-year-old daughter True in Boston, Massachusetts on Tuesday, but it was the massive pear-shaped rock on her left ring finger which drew fans’ attention.

Khloe has yet to comment on the new piece of jewelry.

She and True are in the city to help basketball star Thompson settle into life in Massachusetts, after recently signing a $19 million deal to join the Boston Celtics from the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Khloe was rumored to have reconciled romantically with the sportsman over the summer, after spending the coronavirus lockdown together – two years after he was first caught cheating on the reality TV regular.

The couple reunited, but called it quits again in February, 2019, after Thompson was caught on camera kissing Jordyn Woods, the former best friend of Khloe’s sister, Kylie Jenner.

If the engagement news is true, it will be Khloe’s second trip down the aisle. She previously married another basketball player, Lamar Odom, in 2009 but the two split in 2013, and they finalized their divorce in 2016.

Phil Collins’ ex-wife has bought a waterfront mansion in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, amid the couple’s spat over their former home.

Orianne Bates and her husband, Thomas, have snapped up the new pad for $5.5 million after she refused to leave Collins’ Miami Beach property at the request of her rocker ex.

In August, Collins filed legal documents against Orianne and her husband, requesting they leave the home on North Bay Road, and two months later the Genesis star alleged unlawful detainer and forcible entry, claiming his ex-wife had changed alarm codes and hired armed guards to patrol the property.

Phil, who is trying to sell the home, explained Orianne and her husband were not allowing his realtor entry to the home.

The case is ongoing and Orianne is scheduled for Zoom depositions early next year.

Schitt’s Creek co-creator and star Dan Levy was convinced the show’s Emmy Awards success was all part of an elaborate prank because the whole virtual ceremony felt so “surreal.”

The sixth and final season of the comedy scooped nine top accolades at the 2020 event, with the star making history as the first person to win for comedy writing, directing, acting, and producing in the same year.

However, Levy insists to everyone involved in the program, the prizes were “like a dream,” as they all watched the ceremony unfold in an outdoor tent in Toronto, Canada, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

He told The Guardian newspaper: “The whole situation was surreal. For the Emmys, we were in a tent in Toronto. It really did feel like this kind of surreal dream. You’re watching a screen in a tent and suddenly you’re winning, and then you’re talking to a camera in a tent.

“You don’t see an audience, there’s absolutely no sense of it being an award ceremony. At the end I was talking to (co-star) Catherine O’Hara, and she was like, ‘I just feel like someone’s going to pop out of the bushes and say this is an episode of Punk’d.’ It really felt like one of those setups, like, ‘Let’s put them all in a tent and fake a bunch of Emmys.'”

Ed Sheeran reportedly earned over $89.3 million between 2019 and 2020, despite taking a break from music.

The Castle on the Hill hitmaker recently returned to music with his new single Afterglow following a year away from the studio and the spotlight, but it has now been revealed his bank account swelled during his time off.

According to The Sun, documents filed at Companies House in the U.K. suggest Nathan Cable Touring – the singer’s company – recorded a turnover of more than $94.7 million and profits of $50 million for the financial year ending 31 March, 2020, while Ed Sheeran Ltd, which receives profits from the writing, recording and production of his music, made a $39.2 million profit.

That means Ed raked in a whopping £66 million between April 2019 and March 2020.

Ed’s impressive profits follow his record-breaking Divide tour, which he wrapped in Ipswich in August, 2019. The tour became the highest-grossing music tour in history, grossing $821.4 million over 255 shows.

Meanwhile, Ed has been as busy as ever on his year off – in September he announced the birth of his daughter, Lyra.

Beyonce’s BeyGOOD charity is donating $500,000 to individuals and families facing eviction due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Lemonade star’s philanthropic organization announced the generous initiative on Tuesday, with 100 $5,000 gifts going out to help those struggling during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“This holiday season while many are stressed with what they will do next regarding their housing, we are proud to share some GOOD news. Beyonce is giving $5k grants to individuals and families facing foreclosures or evictions,” BeyGOOD said in a press release. “When we were faced with the pandemic caused by COVID-19, BeyGOOD created a plan to make a difference. We assisted organizations across the country that were providing people with basic needs like food, water, household supplies and Covid testing. We also provided mental health support. We then launched our BeyGOOD Small Business Impact fund (alongside NAACP, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) and to date over 250 small businesses have received $10k grants.

“Beyonce is continuing her heart of support and helping where needed most. Phase Two of the BeyGOOD Impact Fund will now help those impacted by the housing crisis. The housing moratorium is set to end on Dec. 26, resulting in mortgage foreclosures and rental evictions. Many families are impacted, due to the pandemic that resulted in job loss, sickness and overall economy downturn.”

Online applications for the BeyGOOD financial assistance open on Jan. 7. Successful applicants will be notified in late January, with a second round of funding available in February.

Margot Robbie is hoping her new Barbie movie surprises film fans, because it’s not about a cute blonde doll.

The I, Tonya star replaced Amy Schumer in the new take on the Mattel doll, which will be produced by her LuckyChap Entertainment Company, and she warns devotees not to expect something fluffy and sweet.

“It will be something totally different… a little left of center,” Margot tells The Hollywood Reporter.

“Something like Barbie where the IP, the name itself, people immediately have an idea of, ‘Oh Margot is playing Barbie, I know what that is’. But our goal is to be like, ‘Whatever you’re thinking, we’re going to give you something totally different – the thing you didn’t know you wanted’.”

Actress/director Greta Gerwig and her partner Noah Baumbach have signed on to write the script for the film, which centers upon Barbie being expelled from Barbie Land for failing to live up to expectations.

A Sex and the City reboot, featuring original stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon, is reportedly in the works at HBO Max.

The New York Post’s gossip column Page Six cited a “well placed industry insider” as telling them that a “limited series reboot” is coming to the streaming service.

While Sarah, Kristin and Cynthia are all said to be returning, Kim Cattrall – who has repeatedly said she’s got no interest in reprising her role as Samantha Jones for a reboot – will apparently not. Cattrall and Parker were also involved in a public feud following the death of the former’s brother in 2018.

Despite Kim’s disinterest in a reboot, Sarah – who also acted as a producer on the series – told Entertainment Tonight previously that she’d be up for returning as alter ego Carrie Bradshaw.

“I wouldn’t call it a reboot, I would call it a ‘revisit,'” she said. “I’d like to see where all of them are. I’m curious, the world has changed even since the movie – technology and social media. (Plus) sexual politics and the #MeToo movement and Time’s Up… I think Carrie Bradshaw would just be so greedy to share her feelings and thoughts.”

Representatives for Parker and HBO Max have yet to comment on the reboot report.

Billy Connolly insists he hasn’t “got that long” left to live.

The 78-year-old comedian – who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2013 – admitted he has been thinking about his mortality since his birthday last month, but the idea of death no longer scares him.

“I think about death quite a lot now that I am 78. I don’t think I’ve got that long…,” he told Britain’s The Times newspaper. “There’s a thing that they teach in Buddhism when you see a dead animal in the street – a pigeon, a little bird or a rabbit. You say to yourself, ‘That is the way of all life and that is the way it will be for me.’ And it makes you lose your fear of death.”

Billy insisted he has no time for “nonsense” about reincarnation or realms of angels.

“I think you go to the same place you were before you were born. Nowhere,” he added. “You die. It’s over. You should have done it when you were alive. Get on with it.”

To try and ease his Parkinson’s symptoms, Mrs Brown star Billy takes seven different prescription pills and practises meditation every day.

“They keep me steady. I seem to be on the medium to mild side. Take a walk on the mild side,” he explained, before admitting he has tried alternative therapies, including cannabis, but felt they weren’t right for him.

“I get bombed out of my head. And I don’t like it. My daughter bought me cigarettes with CBD. It helped a little, but not enough to write home about,” he said.

A group of Mission: Impossible crew members have defended Tom Cruise’s leaked outburst about ignored COVID protocols on set, insisting he has every right to get upset.

The movie star was caught on tape raging about health and safety breaches and his comments were posted online by The Sun editors, leading to a backlash from some and talk of crew members quitting.

But now some of his colleagues are coming to his defense.

A source from the U.K. production behind the seventh installment of the film series tells People magazine, “It’s hard to (describe) how incredibly intense and focused he is on making every movie the absolute best possible. The Mission: Impossible movies are very special to him. They are ‘his’ movies.

“Tom helped set up the COVID protocol. Of course, he takes it personally when the protocol is broken. In all the years of filming the Mission: Impossible franchise, no one has ever even heard Tom raise his voice. He is usually just laser-focused on filming. This movie is very different though. He has to film while making sure everyone stays safe.”

Another set source adds: “Tom’s whole life is his work. He feels the pressure of how scary things look now. He does not want any further disruption. There is a lot at stake. When he sees something less than professional, he wants to make it right.”

In his leaked rant, Cruise threatened to fire crew members if he saw them ignoring the guidelines put in place to protect everyone on set from COVID.

Country music star Garth Brooks fought tears during his live holiday special on Sunday while performing a rare full version of Belleau Wood.

The singer paused midway through the song, based on the 1914 Christmas truce of World War I, to recollect himself during the Garth & Trisha Live! A Holiday Concert Event on CBS.

Belleau Wood tells the story of the 1914 Christmas truce ceasefires along the Western Front during World War I among British, French and German soldiers and, before the performance, his wife Trisha Yearwood said “Good luck, buddy,” admitting the song makes her weep.

Garth explained he’s always done an abbreviated version of the song when it’s been requested during live shows, admitting: “I love this whole story.”

He closed his eyes as he sang about soldiers putting down their weapons and coming together on Christmas to sing Silent Night, but stopped playing as he was overcome with emotion and said, “I’m gonna get this” before he resumed playing and singing.

The star’s voice broke once again as he sang about the soldiers eventually resuming their fighting, telling viewers, “Almost made it, so sorry,” while he and Trisha dried their eyes.

During the show, which aired live from their home Studio G, the pair performed an array of holiday hits – including classic covers and original tunes – and gave a glimpse into their family life together.
